Fun-A-Day. Pre-Show.

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010
My sister and I braved the snow encrusted North Side (there are some crazy big heaps of snow over there) and dropped off our pieces for tomorrow’s Fun-A-Day show (6pm-10pm at AIR). It looked like the parking lot across the street from AIR was pretty well cleaned out, so there’s plenty of parking. There will also be food and box wine.

It should be a rollicking good time.

Unfortunately, there were technical difficulties with my POD Bra and Panties magazine, but the proof copy with a judiciously placed sticker on the back will do in a pinch. It’s not perfect, but I’ve messed around with the file since I printed the ones I ordered for the show anyway. There are no final versions in the digital age. Also, the proof was actually the second proof, so it’s pretty damn close. Did that pique your interest?

Not even a little?

I Made It!

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

Hey! I’ve got a little table at the I Made It! Market on Saturday, April 4th! Woo! It’s at the Union Project again. I’m feverishly and furiously making new stuff and getting my web stuff in order. Should be a grand time now that I know what I’m doing (sort of ). Well, I have more of an idea what I’m doing (confidence, now).

The official blurb goes like this:

The I Made It! Market joins with the Union Project on April 4 from 12 – 5 pm, to bring you a Marketplace filled with 50+ local artists and craftspeople selling handmade few-of-a-kind wares, indie crafts and more.

Pick up lunch and coffee at the Union Project’s cafe and make an afternoon of it! The Union Project is located at the corners of N. Negley and Stanton Avenues in Highland Park. For more information, visit www.imadeitmarket.com.

I’m going in super potent mode with only little prints and select shirts, so let me know if you want something specific and I’ll be sure to bring it along.

Meep!

AIR 2008 volunteer/staff show

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

Thanks to everyone who played along at the opening last Saturday. Some pictures from the event and from the creation of the piece are here. If you got your picture taken, you’re in here somewhere.

Also, although the piece is now hanging flat against a wall so you can’t get your picture taken with it, the show will be up at AIR until January 15th.

Special thanks to everyone who stopped by yesterday.
That was fun. Lets do it again real soon.

I Made It!

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

So, yeah, things are crazy, but, you know, crazygood. This Saturday is the I Made It! market for the holidays at the Union Project and I’ve got a little table and a couple little chairs. There will be many nearly disturbing shirts and prints. Also, baby stuff.

Come on by and check it out. Or just stop by and say hi, shake my hand, and pose for a picture.

Also, my mother is going to be working the table with me.
